I was taking the train once and just outside of Kingston I saw two C-130s flying alongside. It was pretty neat.

That's technically Ft Jefferson on the Dry Tortugas islands. It's like Key West, but less drunk. Only accessible by boat or floatplane. #pedant

I meant to add that it was part of America’s secondary network of forts that we built in the 19th century. Some of these secondary forts — namely Ft. McHenry in Baltimore — have really pulled their weight in defending the mainland during crises. And almost all of them make for excellent, relatively uncrowded tourist attractions for reasonable entry fees. This one just happens to be a PITA to visit, but amazingly beautiful.
